In principle, all roof types are suitable for the installation of your solar power plant. It does not matter whether it is a green roof or a flat roof with foil, bitumen or gravel covering or a pitched roof with sheet metal, corrugated eternit or tile covering. Depending on the type of roof, we select the right solar modules and substructures for you from a wide range of products. When selecting products, we only use industry-standard branded products from leading manufacturers.

Conventional glass modules

We only use modules from top manufacturers with an optimum price/performance ratio.

Lightweight modules

Ideal for roofs with limited load-bearing capacity, the modules are versatile and easy to install.

Bifacial modules

Increased energy yield by capturing direct and reflected light on the front and back.

Flat roof

Offers easy accessibility for full-surface installation of PV modules with maximum solar radiation.

Trapezoidal roof

The inclined structure of the trapezoidal roof enables full-surface and simple installation.

Corrugated roof

Provides a stable base for the installation of PV modules with good ventilation.

Façades offer additional space for PV and, depending on their orientation, valuable production during off-peak hours or in winter.

Every roof has a right to PV – a practical example

The use of glass-free lightweight modules, which can also be installed on roof surfaces with minimal residual static load-bearing capacity, is a revolutionary approach that enables us to utilise areas that were previously unusable for solar energy generation. With almost 4,000 lightweight modules and 1,300 conventional glass panels, we have created a system for the Bachmann Group that is unique in this dimension in the whole of Switzerland. Without the use of these lightweight modules, a large part of the Bachmann Group’s roof area would remain unutilised.
