Manufacturer-independent — what it means in practice

No dealer contract, no manufacturer commission — only the technology that is optimal for your project. Ampere Dynamic holds no contractual obligation to any single manufacturer. That means: our technical recommendations are driven exclusively by your installation’s requirements — site, roof load-bearing capacity, load profile and budget determine the technology selection, not distributor rebates.

Every year, we re-evaluate all relevant manufacturers in the categories photovoltaic modules, inverters, battery storage, charging infrastructure and monitoring. As soon as a product loses efficiency, achieves a higher certification level or its price-performance ratio deteriorates, we adjust our recommendation. Over 500 large-scale installations in Switzerland demonstrate how the photovoltaics solution benefits from this approach.

The multi-tier procurement approach also protects you from single-vendor risks. Supply bottlenecks caused by recalls, insolvency or overcapacity at one manufacturer do not affect your installation — because we have qualified alternatives in every category ready.

Breadth not loyalty — our supplier portfolio

Around 20 evaluated manufacturers across 5 technology categories form Ampere Dynamic’s procurement universe. Every project receives an individual technology recommendation — based on site conditions, energy profile and budget. The Balteschwiler project with 3’092 kWp demonstrates how a multi-technology approach combines scalability and operational reliability: Balteschwiler AG reference.

The overview below shows which manufacturers Ampere Dynamic regularly works with — as a basis, not an exhaustive list.

Quality through selection — our evaluation criteria

The breadth of the portfolio alone does not guarantee quality. That is why every manufacturer assessment follows four equally weighted criteria: technical efficiency, certification status, Swiss service network and cost-effectiveness for the end client. No manufacturer is accepted that falls below the minimum requirement in any of these areas.

Swissolar membership and our commitment to the SUVA Safety Charter reflect the same quality standard: further details are available on our CSR page.

How we select technology partners

Efficiency

Annual benchmarking across all product categories — module efficiency, inverter performance and storage capacity — based on current test data and installation experience.

Certification

Exclusively IEC- and CE-certified products that meet Swiss grid connection requirements and SUVA Safety Charter standards.

Service network

Only manufacturers with a proven Swiss service network — spare parts availability within 5 working days is the minimum requirement.

Cost-effectiveness

Multi-supplier procurement secures competitive prices for your project — independent of a single manufacturer's discount system.

Compatibility

Only components with open interfaces and proven multi-manufacturer compatibility — no proprietary lock-ins that block future expansions.

Longevity & Warranty

Minimum 10-year product warranty, proven field runtime and documented cycle stability — ensuring your system produces reliably over its entire lifespan.
