Lightweight Technology and Strong Partnership

The turnkey photovoltaic system designed for the BACHMANN GROUP spans nine roofs and one façade, 10’800 square metres of roof and about 1’350 square metres of façade, around 12’150 square metres in total, and has an impressive capacity of approximately 2’809 kWp. With an expected annual yield of around 2’809 MWh, this is one of the largest rooftop photovoltaic systems in Canton Lucerne. The system consists of 75% glass-free lightweight modules, marking a significant step in the field of renewable energy. As a major electricity consumer, Bachmann Forming AG can utilise around 96% of the electricity generated for its 24/7 operations. The surplus energy is fed into the public grid.
