The turnkey photovoltaic system designed for the BACHMANN GROUP spans nine roofs and one façade totalling 10,800 square metres and has an impressive capacity of approximately 2,195 kWp. With an average annual yield of up to 2 gigawatt-hours, this is one of the largest rooftop photovoltaic systems in Canton Lucerne. The system consists of 75% glass-free lightweight modules, marking a significant step in the field of renewable energy. As a major electricity consumer, Bachmann Forming AG can utilise around 96% of the electricity generated for its 24/7 operations. The surplus energy is fed into the public grid.
