Innovation for Optimal Structural Analysis

All work on the 417 kWp photovoltaic system on the roofs of MEAG AG in Gretzenbach was successfully commissioned in August 2023. The solar power plant produces up to 416,000 kWh of green electricity annually and covers a significant portion of MEAG AG’s electricity requirements.

A groundbreaking project that could only be realised thanks to an innovative, weight-saving substructure. This was installed beneath the gravel of the roof covering and weighted accordingly. Compared to conventional substructures, which rest on the gravel and are weighted with stone slabs, this saved considerable weight. This enabled us to install the PV system on the existing roof without having to undertake expensive structural reinforcements.
