Locality, Sustainability and Economic Efficiency

Together with KAPAG Karton + Papier AG in Muhen AG, we were able to set new sustainability standards and take a significant step in their pursuit of regional and environmentally friendly energy supply. KAPAG Karton + Papier AG deliberately chose modules from a regional manufacturer, thereby demonstrating a strong commitment to local partnerships. The implemented photovoltaic system with a module capacity of 878 kWp is composed of high-quality Black PV modules from Meyer Burger, which were developed in Switzerland and produced in Germany. The surplus sustainable electricity produced flows directly into the public grid, which in turn benefits the surrounding municipalities.
