633 kWp photovoltaics on the roofs of Kuny AG

In December 2022, the complete installation of the 633 kWp photovoltaic system on the roofs of Kuny AG in Küttigen AG was successfully completed. Kuny AG manufactures textile bands of all kinds for customers across Europe. They now source the majority of the electricity required for this from their own production and environmentally friendly sources. In addition, this system saves 76 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.

Since March 2026, two battery storage units with a combined 250 kW / 522 kWh on the roof of the transformer station have complemented the plant. They store solar surplus for production, are designed to cap load peaks and are registered for ancillary services.
