The Beginning of Our Company History

As a responsible logistics service provider, Lagerhäuser Aarau wanted to cut the CO2 footprint of its energy-intensive Schafisheim site substantially, without interrupting ongoing operations. Ampere Dynamic delivered the system turnkey within a few months. The solar power plant, 1’703 kWp on two architecturally distinctive buildings, is expected to produce around 1’703 MWh of electricity a year, about one third of the site’s own consumption. The system is one of the largest rooftop photovoltaic installations in Canton Aargau.

The result is an economically sound self-supply: clean electricity from the company’s own source, less dependence on the public grid and a clear contribution to the long-term site strategy. Ampere Dynamic continues to support the family business in developing its other sites.
