Low-Emission Operations Thanks to Maximum Self-Consumption

We had the privilege of accompanying iba – Büro und mehr in another important and major step in their sustainability strategy and economic efficiency, commissioning their self-consumption photovoltaic system in May 2023. With a capacity of around 537 megawatt-hours, the solar power plant covers a significant portion of self-consumption and feeds a substantial amount of surplus electricity into the public grid. With this production capacity, iba operates almost emission-free throughout the year, thus supporting a sustainable paper cycle.
