Einmalvergütung
Also known as: EIV, KLEIV, GREIV, HEIV, One-off payment
The Einmalvergütung (EIV) is Switzerland's central federal subsidy for photovoltaic systems, paid as a one-off investment contribution at commissioning by the executing agency Pronovo. It comprises KLEIV for systems below 100 kWp, GREIV for systems from 100 kWp up to 50 MWp, and HEIV for full feed-in systems from 2 to 150 kWp. Since 2025, additional bonuses apply, for example for integrated systems and carport canopies.
For industrial and commercial systems from 100 kWp, the GREIV is the relevant category. Rates are calculated individually by system type, capacity and commissioning date; binding figures come from the Pronovo tariff calculator.
Since 1 January 2025, bonuses increase the payment: CHF 400/kW for integrated system components, CHF 200/kW for attached and free-standing systems, and CHF 250/kW for carport canopies from 100 kWp. Since 2026, the Winterstrombonus adds a premium for winter-strong systems.
